Buccaneers sign former Cornhusker

Lavonte David, former Nebraska Cornhusker linebacker and second-round draft pick, recently signed a four-year contract with the Buccaneers. David was the 58th pick in the draft, and will compete for a starting position on Tampa Bay’s defense. As a Nebraska senior, the linebacker was a Butkus Award finalist and finished with 285 tackles, the fourth-most in the school’s history.
