The newest member of the Jets was a pleasant surprise for defensive tackle Sione Pouha.
Jets writer Randy Lange reports that fullback Fui Vakapuna, who was signed with the Jets on Wednesday during OTAs is Pouha’s cousin.
The cousins told Jets grew up together in Utah and even went to the same high school.
Both participate in charity events in Utah and are looking forward to a successful season in New York.
