Why I Love the T-E-X-A-N-S!

This week we profile uber Texans fan Claire. While this Class of 1997 Aggie hails from Houston, she is currently exiled to the West Coast and residing in Santa Cruz, CA.  These are a few reasons why she still loves her hometown team:

T -    True Houstonian through and through, loved the Oilers, they were snatched from under us and when the Texans came to Houston, it was a joyous event!

E -    Enthusiastic ownership and players. The owner, Bob McNair is a wonderful man who has finally found the right mix of coaches and players to wow the fans.

X -    Xceptional personalities. The team may not be super famous yet but to those who follow them, they’re a completely unique group of players.

A -    Arian Foster. The philosopher is simply awe-inspiring on field and off. (Note, could’ve used Andre Johnson here, but Arian’s recently overtaken him as my #1)

N -    Nasty defense that will tear an opponent to pieces.  After all we’ve suffered defensively, Bulls on Parade is so fun to watch.

S -    Season tickets. My dream upon graduating from Texas A&M was Oilers season tickets. Then they left. Then I left. And the Texans arrived. I will be moving back to Texas this year and can finally fulfill my dream of not missing a home game.

Just a few of the reasons I love these guys and this team. The Texans make me happier than most anything on earth!
