Falcons Mini-Camp and Upcoming Scrimmage vs the Titans

I went out to Flowery Branch on Friday to join about 1,000 other true falcons fans on the last day of Mini-Camp. We saw a small preview of the upcoming season. It was toasty, even at 10:30am…but, there were drinks and ice cream to cool off with (I had a Strawberry Frozen Fruit Bar)! ;D
There were several “stand outs” including Julio Jones (looking good) and Kerry Meier (one to watch). I was very surprised to see at both Akeem Dent and Lofa Tatupu taking 1st team snaps at middle linebacker. Hmmmmm. With the new Coordinators (Koetter and Nolan) it seems that everyone is on the same page and running smoothly.

Sports On-Camera Host, Writer, and TV/Film Producer. Karon heads up the Multimedia Ops Dept. for the Dreams of Recovery Foundation. Ms. Cook, a Cali Girl, will also be Hosting a new Sports Competition Series on PBS in 2014 – “Here to Cheer”! Watch for it! She also writes for Leatherheads of the Gridiron and reports via their Network (LOTG Network). Her Dad (USMC D.I.) is from the ‘Burgh and she “grew up” with the Steelers & Pirates. Sports are in her DNA! Karon is an athlete in her own right and has held many (Track & Field) Records. Currently in development: “The Journey – Where Are They Now” with former NFL Players. Ms. Cook is also a Mentor and Consultant for girls, covering subjects: “Body Image & the Media” and Girls + Sports = Success! Karon has been Credentialed by the Steelers (x2) and the Atlanta Falcons (2011 & 2012 Seasons). Here we go…
