Be A Fashion Vick-tim

It seems to be the newest trend, but at least Michael Vick’s new clothing line V7 includes athletic gear…unlike some NFL players whose names I will not mention.

Vick consistently talks to children about the importance of correcting mistakes.  “It’s all about proving to the kids, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish,” the Eagles QB said. “It’s still not over. I’ve still got to walk the straight line each and every day. I’m trying to do things that’s going to be appealing, and make sense, and allow kids to dreams and have ambition. To have goals. That’s what it’s all about.”

This message has become somewhat of a motto for the QB who made his return to football after being in federal prison for 18 months due to bankrolling a dog fighting ring.  Two shirts in the clothing line are adorned with the key phrases ”Mental Toughness” and “It’s Not How You Start. It’s How You Finish.”

Lucky for Vick, Roger Goodell, the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles and even the CEO of  the East Coast sporting goods chain Modell’s, Mitchell Modell, believes in giving people a second chance.  Modell’s will carry the V7 line that was put together by celebrity clothing-line mogul Ruby Azrak and talent agent (formerly of ICM) Brian Sher.  Items are also reasonably priced with youth shirts for $12.99 and adult shirts for $19.99.  So come on out Eagles fans and show your support!
