Mouthwatering Steak Marinade

Some steak enthusiasts will tell you that you shouldn’t tamper with a good steak and largely I would agree… with a few exceptions – one of them being this simple marinade which takes an already amazing cut of meat like a rib eye steak and brings it to another level. If you have time, put the sauce together the day before you need it to allow the flavors to marry.

These ingredients are for 3-5  steaks:

2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce

1/3 cup Red wine vinegar

1 Tbsp  Huy Fong Chili Garlic sauce

1 Tbsp Rosemary (dried is fine)

____________________________   1/4 – 1/2 cup olive oil

Place steaks in a gallon storage bag and pour the marinade over them. They don’t need to be swimming in liquid so don’t be alarmed if it is just enough to coat them.  Massage the marinade gently into the steaks for a minute and place into the refrigerator to set for a minimum of 4 hours – a maximum of 24. Pull the steaks from the refrigerator to come up to room temp about an hour before you plan to cook them. Brush lightly with olive oil before putting them on a searing hot grill for 3-4 minutes per side for medium rare.
