According to the Arrowhead Addict, the Chargers emailed senior editor Patrick Allen, inviting the fan site to buy a block of tickets. This new tactic arose after the Chargers didn’t take advantage of the new blackout rule, which lowered the threshold of ticket sales necessary for the team’s games to be shown in the local market.
