If you’re looking for a fun way to get ready for the next pre-season game and have some time on your hands why not try making your own gameday tee?
Not only are these simple to make, they cost less than $20.
For my t-shirt making festivities I used:
A purple and black t-shirt, stencils (letters and a bird), Tulip Slick Fabric Paint, a paintbrush and a magazine. Also, I recently found out that if you can’t find a stencil of your team’s logo you can buy blank stencil paper to use in your printer! I actually used it for one of my ravens and it worked phenomenal!
To get started you’re going to want to put a magazine underneath your shirt, this will not only give you stability but it will also help the paint from running through to the back of the shirt. Next, lay your stencils out and use your paintbrush to write your letters. Once your done remove the stencils and magazine and put your shirt somewhere safe to dry.
Another way to add a unique look is by using the fabric spray paint. I did this last year and I loved it. It adds a different look that not many people think of!
You can also put your favorite player’s name and number on the back easily with your stencils. If you want a different approach try iron ons for the number!
Get creative and have fun making your own gameday tee!
