Are the Rams on the road to repeating the failings of last season?
That’s the question stirring in the brains of many following a not-so smooth opener last Sunday against the Colts. The Rams barely escaped a goose egg falling to Indianapolis, 38- 3; a team they tied with for the worst record last season.
As important as winning is to any coach, Jeff Fisher indicates these preseason games are being used to build and get players acclimated. In doing so, the rotation was in full force and continued throughout the duration of the game. Rams QB Sam Bradford understands the growth that is necessary for the future. As for Sunday’s game he stated that they “just need to finish”.
In an odd way, this may be a good sign for the Rams. Lets not forget last year’s preseason victories. Though impressive, they were followed by an abundance of losses. With one game down and plenty more to come, there is nowhere to go but up.
Hold on to your horns!
