Arminta Jones, Mom of Cowboy’s Owner Jerry Jones Passes Away

Arminta Jones, the mother of the most visible owner in the NFL passed away yesterday.  She was born October 17th, 1922, in Ozan, Arkansas.  She had just turned 90 years old last week and had celebrated it with her son and other family members.  She is survived by her two children Jerry and his sister Jacque,  grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I would like to take this opportunity to pass on my condolences to not only the Jones family but the entire Cowboys organization.

Even though I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, I am a BIG and OBNOXIOUS Dallas Cowboys fan. I have been fortunate to attend every game that the Cowboys have played in Charlotte, except the playoffs. I have had the pleasure to be in Panther Stadium and see my team WIN every time. I take a lot of heat daily from my son Wesley, who’s a 49ers fan and my brother, who is a Raiders fan to people I work out with in my gym. People always hate on the GREATNESS!!! I love going to college football games too, with my favorite team being the Wake Forest DEMON DEACONS! I also am a gym rat and work out three to four times a week.
