Redskins Adam Carriker Loses Bet

Avid wresting fan and Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker reportedly lost a bet to former WWE star Bill Goldberg.  The bet? Carriker gambled on his Redskins beating the high flying Atlanta Falcons this past weekend at Fedex Field.  It was very interesting that Carriker made this bet, since he couldn’t actually help the Redskins win.  Adam has been on injured reserve since a Week 2 loss against the St. Louis Rams.

As payment, Carriker had to, well dress up like a wrestler – with those “panty-like” tights, gloves, pads, and nothing else. For someone that’s been injured and presumably not as active, he looks like he could actually step into a squared circle and throw down. You can get a peak at Adam in his undies here.

Carriker, a former Nebraska Cornhusker, has been with the Redskins since the 2010 season. The former Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the year was drafted in the top half of the first round by the St. Louis Rams in 2007 and went on to be their Rookie of the Year. In his spare time, which he certainly has a lot of right now, Adam hosts a radio show called 4th & Pain. 4th & Pain debuted in April 2012 and focuses on Pro Wrestling. Their first interview was with WWE star Heath Slater.
