With so many breakout performances each week it truly can be “any given Sunday” for all players to stand out and demand the attention of fans everywhere. Her Game Life will be profiling one athlete who we deem as our Player Of the Week. These athletes have proven their talents on the field, and happen to be very easy on the eyes. Check back weekly to see if your favorite player made the cut.
HGL Player of the Week: Quarterback Tom Brady

Bio: The 35 year old, 6’4″ 225 lbs quarterback seems to only be getting better with age. Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft. In Brady’s 10 seasons as a starter, he has led the Patriots to five Super Bowl trip, and has won three rings. He currently holds records for the most touchdown passes in a single regular season and also was a part of the Patriots first undefeated regular season (since the beginning of the 16-game schedule.) Brady played college football at the University of Michigan.
Player of the Week Honors: Brady and the Pats squad laid the pain down on the New Jersey Jets, making them all look like a bunch of turkeys on Thanksgiving night. Brady threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for one of his own. The Patriots are on a 5 game winning streak with an 8-3 record. A victory this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins will secure a playoff spot for the Pats.
Did You Know?: Brady’s full name is Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. Brady is the baby of this family and has three older sisters. Growing up in the Northern California area, he regularly attended 49ers games in the 1980s. In interviews, Brady has said that quarterback Joe Montana is one of his inspirations and an idol of his. He has one son, John, with actress Bridget Moynahan, and a son with wife Giselle Bundchen named Benjamin. The couple is currently expecting their second child together, in December.
