I’ve been slacking a bit on my posts these last few weeks because I cannot muster enough motivation to write anything positive about my boys, the Buffalo Bills. Every time I sit down, I am haunted by the idea that I am actually thinking that moving the Bills to Toronto might in fact be a good idea.
Week after week, I get so frustrated at Ryan Fitzpatrick. I yell, throw things, and talk so poorly about him that I usually excuse myself so that my children don’t hear or see my temper tantrums!! I couldn’t understand why, Ryan Fitzpatrick, a Harvard graduate, who scored so high on the Wonderlic test, couldn’t figure out how to dissect defenses! Why couldn’t this guy figure out how to move his offense?
Then came Stevie Johnson’s comment after the Colt’s game and then it hit me!
I cannot believe that I didn’t think about that before. After all, I did notice that Fitzpatrick never called any audibles: Ryan Fitzpatrick has been handcuffed to the playbook by Chan Gailey. The plays are called, and it is expected that Ryan Fitzpatrick execute that play, regardless of whether or not the defense is on to it. I wonder if Fitz knows what the defense is doing, and that “said play” is going to get him sacked. Here we are, week after week nicknaming Fitzpatrick, “Fitztragic” and it’s not even his fault: he’s handcuffed.
Although Stevie Johnson had to “restate his comments” we got the message. I just hope Gailey did as well.
The Buffalo Bills are losing fans and support every week. They have nothing more to lose if Gailey allows Fitzpatrick to call some plays and create audible during the game against the Jaguars. Let’s be honest, if allowing their QB to have some control over their audience fails, who’s going to see it? The game’s blacked out!

The way this equipment works is somewhat simple.
