That’s right, Her Game Life readers! This week, it’s all about the big boys. For far too long, we have been inundated with the annual polls counting down the NFL’s most handsome players or the NFL’s best bodies featuring quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, or defensive backs. However, I’m rather partial to the big men doing the big work.

Her Game Life contributors and readers nominated 26 of the NFL’s Most Beautiful Big Men from which a survey was created. From these 26 players, survey results identified the top ten according to survey respondents. However, as the author of this article, I’m taking a point of personal privilege to rank order the top ten all by myself. I know Alba will take serious issue with my ordering, but eh…she’ll be okay with time.

10. Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots (265 pounds)

He’s young; he’s brash; he’s playful. But he’s very, very good at his job. Gronkowski is the third tight end in NFL history with three seasons of 10+ touchdown receptions. His hard body status was solidified when selected to appear in ESPN: The Magazine’s Body Issue for 2012. Gronkowski’s boyish good looks and fun-loving nature can easily cause a girl’s heart to skip a beat.

9. Rey Maualuga, LB, Cincinnati Bengals (265 pounds)

That hair…Those tattoos…That jaw line. I’m not normally partial to heavily tattooed men or men with long hair, but Maualuga makes me throw ALL of those preferences out of the window. Quite simply, he is beautiful.

8. Ndamukong Suh, DT, Detroit Lions (307 pounds)

There are few more polarizing NFL players than Suh. He’s a feared pass rusher who did a single stint as a field goal kicker in 2010 and is widely criticized for his style of play, which has earned him the monikers of the “dirtiest” and “least liked” player in the league. However, Suh hosts a widely successful football camp for Detroit youth in addition to other community activities. The “bad” side coupled with such positive work makes this handsome man even more intriguing and attractive.

7. Jeff Saturday, C, Green Bay Packers (295 pounds)

While serving as Peyton Manning’s trusted and highly-valued center for 12 years, Saturday’s face was largely unknown outside of the Indianapolis area. However, one of the BEST parts of the NFL lock-out was the opportunity to see his handsome face and beautiful blue eyes constantly on display and not obscured by a helmet. The lock-out was hard for all parties involved, but consistently seeing Saturday’s handsome self donning a tailored suit was a big highlight for me over summer 2011.

6. Ryan Kerrigan, OLB, Washington Redskins (260 pounds)

You couldn’t have honestly believed I would not include one of my beloved Redskins on this list, right?! Kerrigan has become a popular player with Washington’s female fan base not only because of his consistently outstanding play but also for his rockin’ biceps and handsome face. He’s become one of my personal favorites for his work with the National MS Society as a co-chair for its 2012 Class of MS Achievers. My Kansas roots have a fond appreciation for his classic All-American looks and work ethic.

5. BJ Raji, NT, Green Bay Packers (337 pounds)

It’s not just any person who can upstage NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers in a State Farm commercial, but Raji does it with great aplomb. All the cool girls want to have him “show me what ya got, what ya got, Raji!” His calm, controlled gyrations, while aggravating to Rodgers, totally made women smile!

4. D’Brickashaw Ferguson, T, New York Jets (310 pounds)

Ferguson is a big handsome man! He’s the type of man who can make any woman feel ultra-feminine yet protected when he’s around, and I don’t know a single woman who doesn’t like that particular feeling. In addition to his enjoyable face and beautiful physique, the mission of Ferguson’s foundation to provide eligible students with scholarships and churches with grants for needed repairs just increases his attractiveness that much more.

3. Dwight Freeney, OLB, Indianapolis Colts (268 pounds)

A stalwart for the Colts defensive unit since 2002, Freeney proved that humor can make a handsome man even more attractive when he shot a commercial spoof for “his” horrid new cereal, Freeney-O’s. It’s not every man who can maintain his handsomeness while choking on nasty cereal with a goiter growing from his neck. It would take MUCH more than that to diminish this woman’s attraction to Freeney.

2. JJ Watt, DE, Houston Texans (295 pounds)

He’s big, he’s handsome, and he loves kids! In 2011, Watt befriended three siblings in the Houston area who had lost their parents in a car collision that left two of them paralyzed. After playing a game of wheelchair basketball with them last week, he promised to do a special post-sack celebration for them rather than his customary salute. Making good on his promise, Watt busted out the “wheelchair” in honor of the children after a sack during Houston’s game against the Jaguars. How great is that?! A beautiful man who loves kids is totally hot!

1. Vince Wilfork, DT, New England Patriots (325 pounds)

Wilfork as the NFL’s Most Beautiful Big Man was easy choice. He was nominated by numerous women and also received the highest number of votes in the survey. There is something highly attractive about big manly man taking the time and having the confidence to give Patriots’ owner Robert Kraft a kiss on each cheek (one in honor of Kraft’s late wife, Myra) before every game. Moreover, he plays the game in a manner that makes you appreciate the athleticism found within his 325 pound body.

There you have it! These are the NFL’s Most Beautiful Big Men!!!
